Introducing the German General Social Survey Personas (GGSSP) – a #persona collection derived from the German General Social Survey (GGSS/ALLBUS).
This data release provides plug-and-play persona descriptions to steer the generations of Large Language Models towards individual members of the German population. The GGSSP comes in different formats and with personas featuring varying levels of information, allowing for the exploration of #LLM alignment across topics and tasks.
So Duo (the multifactor authentication service that #infosec loves) has integrated with Persona (the privacy destroying, Peter Thiel backed, AI-linked, facial scanning and mapping "identity verification" software)
You know the recent Discord snafu that received such massive pushback and caused so many people to leave Discord that they've dropped their identity verification?
Yeah, that Persona.
Duo integrates it into Duo Premier, Duo Advantage, and even Duo Essentials...
...which means many working class folks will have no option but to be enrolled into and use Persona...

So, Discord have started to experiment the next step of their age verification: Send "age verification" data to the company Persona.
Persona, in which Peter Thiel have investments. Peter Thiel is the founder of Palantir, a data and surveillance company that collaborate with USA federal agencies. Including ICE. (And their is a lot of other things to tell about Thiel.)

I should also actually try to play #Persona 5. I bought the world's filthiest $20 Goodwill PS3 explicitly for it, added a SSD, repasted, removed 82 dead roaches, then never got past the opening movie due to the loud and confusing UI. And the console being louder and rattlier than a modern 12-core gaming PC.
Age verification is not en never was about protecting children. It's about mass surveillance.
"Once a user verifies their identity with Persona, the software performs 269 distinct verification checks and scours the internet and government sources for potential matches, such as by matching your face to politically exposed persons (PEPs), and generating risk and similarity scores for each individual. Time for a new #introduction post, since this is a new server for me.
I'm from Luxembourg and I have been into Manga and Anime since 1999. Yes, I'm old, don't remind me.
I read and watch a huge variety of different manga, so it would always feel incomplete to describe my taste. Most would say I'm into trash.
I do most of my mangareading in German and English. I will try to keep my toots in English though.
I'm into gaming too, of course. I mostly focus on #JRPG. My main franchises are: #Persona, #Yakuza and #FireEmblem.
I'm also a writer. My books are both in German and Luxembourgish, so I keep my posting about that to a minimum.
