Последние несколько дней использую тот самый #Cosmic, который на rust от создателей #Pop!_OS, вместо #Gnome.
Противоречивые ощущения. С одной стороны довольно шустрый (субъективно), симпатичный (вкусовщина), в каком-то плане даже привычное поведение (после Gnome). Но.
Не хватает некоторых настроек.
Например переключение между окнами по alt-tab лисиает все окна на всех рабочих столах. У гнома можно настроить на переключение только с текущего, что, для меня, супер удобно. Само переключение, если тыкать быстро, может немного залипнуть.
Или перелистывание рабочих столов четырьмя пальцами, а не тремя. Непривычно, жить можно, но...
Или раскладка общая для всех окон. Пишешь в чат на русском, переключаешься в консаль или ide и переклбчаешься ещё раз... Не удобно, крч.
Это три боли, на текущий момент. Может я просто не нашёл как их включить - может быть, хз, не нашёл. Остальное, плюс-минус, норм.
