Hi all! Here's my #introduction.
I'm a #historian and #lawprof at University of #Michigan. I study #EarlyAmericanHistory and 17th-18th century #BritishHistory, focusing on #ExecutivePower, #PoliticalTheory, and #ConstitutionalLaw. Besides scholarship on #SeparationOfPowers and U.S. #President, I co-author a #ConLaw textbook that interweaves #doctrine and #history, paying special attention to nonjudicial documents. I also regularly litigate #CivilRights and #NationalSecurity cases #ProBono.
