Now I’m tired and ready to sleep, but I’m committed to dough maintenance for the next ~ 3 hours. Somebody didn’t plan this very well.

My final #sourdoughsunday post. Here’s the weekend in a nutshell. Thank you for tolerating my obsession.
Blueberry lemon. My white whale. My most difficult flavor. Still not perfect but this is pretty damn good. #sourdoughsunday This is the loaf everybody begs for the most, and the one I’m most reticent about sharing because my technique isn’t good enough.
Continuing on #sourdoughsunday with boule versions of (left) cheddar jalapeño and (right) mozzarella Parmesan pepperoni pesto. The structural issues with the right boule are due to the oil in the pesto. If I’m going to continue making bread containing pesto, I’ll need to make my own pesto containing less oil.

Not to be hyperbolic, but #sourdoughsunday is starting out in a banging way. The first bake is DRAMATIC, and it’s not even done baking yet.
