You folks remember when I asked about restoring access to a #Google account for a friend of mine?
Well, the good news is, he got his account back.
The bad news?
He lost his account thanks to #Claude #AI.
His "agent" happily and without intervention installed a package (I don't know the details of the package) on his work system, that took root access, and siphoned off his credentials.
I am happy for him that he got his account and all back, but #holy #flying #spaghetti #monster did I have to hold back the "I told you so"

PHP #Foundation welcomes #Elizabeth #Barron, clearly hoping her executive powers will magically fix #spaghetti #code 🍝✨. Maybe she'll summon #PHP 7.5 to finally do its own dishes, but hey, at least they'll have someone else to blame now 🙈.
