The political violence hurled towards Green Party politicians in the UK is an example of how normal people are pushed out of politics so only sociopaths and the Corrupt remain.

Today in Labor History March 2, 1974: Salvador Puig Antich was executed by garrote in Barcelona, Spain. He was a militant anarchist and Catalan independence fighter who fought against the Spanish state with the terrorist group Iberian Liberation Movement in the early 1970s. He was convicted of bank robbery and killing a police officer. His arrest and execution became a cause célèbre in Francoist Spain for Catalan autonomists, pro-independence supporters, and anarchists. He was also the last person executed by the fascist Franco regime. His execution inspired new artistic works by Catalan artists Joan Miró and Antoni Tàpies.

I've just come back from a talk about #terrorism: I've just realized how foolish my idea of this concept was. Deep in me I've always associated it to fanatic people, to individuals or small groups of indoctrinated desperates who went through a brainwash. We (or at least I) tend to forget how our western society, our people well suited and with a tie, has direct responsibilities in acts that, by the very same definition of terrorism we've crafted, force us to define them in this way.

Bundestag berät am Donnerstag über AfD-Antrag auf Antifaverbot
Schon vor ein paar Monaten brachte die AfD einen Antrag auf 'Verbot der Antifa' in Deutschland in den Bundestag ein.
In ihrem 6-seitigen Antrag stilisiert sich die AfD sowie andere rechte Kräfte als Opfer von 'Linksextremisten' und 'Linksterroristen'. Die USA und Trump werden positiv hervorgehoben, was den Kampf gegen die 'Antifa' angehe. Zudem soll die Bundesregierung "in Zusammenarbeit mit den zuständigen US-Behörden „internationale Verflechtungen deutscher Antifa-Netzwerke und paramilitärische Ausbildungslager im Ausland" aufklären und aufspüren.
Der Innenausschuss des Bundestages empfiehlt den Antrag abzulehnen.
Da heute, 13.01.2025, vor dem OLG Düsseldorf der Prozess im sogenannten startet, dürfte die AfD dies nutzen, um in der mündlichen Beratung im Bundestag gegen alles antifaschistische zu hetzen.
