🔞Several times I rewatched the episode in which Eda makes peace with her curse and gains the ability to transform. It gets me every time. I see myself and my trauma reflected in her. I absolutely love that at the end of the series Eda never gets rid of her curse but rather learns to live with it. It's an empowering message, I believe.

3 years ago, I made an Owl House Jack-O-Lantern carving pattern, and carved it into a real pumpkin. I deleted the pictures of the pumpkin with the pattern carved into it, but luckily I had posted it on Twitter that year, back when Twitter didn’t suck, and so I was able to recover the pictures of my pumpkin via screenshot.

Hi! I'm Wendy! I live in Seattle, raised 2 kids as a single mom, I did roller derby, started a convention, worked at a toy company, then a gaming company. Now I'm going to school full time at Seattle's Wood Tech Center for Carpentry and working full time at a Tiny House Village serving our homeless community.
