Cold and frosty days just now, with beautiful blue skies.
I keep looking at the little things and enjoying them. Like:
The light through flower petals.
The ice in the puddles.
The way the frost interacts with the dead fern leaves we leave in the garden as sheltering spots for insects.

Having just discovered a new hashtag #TheWorldIsStillBeautiful I saw this piece of magic today when the freezing fog lifted for a bit and the sun tried to shine through.

A large old copper beech in the fog, the sun is behind the tree glowing round the large branches and making rays of light and dark through the fog.
The trees and hill behind are hazy through the fog but you can tell the sky is blue up high.
