Die Instanz entwickelt sich gut: 328 Accounts haben zusammen 47335 Beiträge erstellt, durchschnittlich 144.31 Toots pro Person. Das bedeutet ein hohes Engagement und entsprechend viele Daten, die verwaltet werden müssen.
Hinter den Kulissen laufen leistungsfähige Server, die Bilder, Videos und alle Beiträge speichern und verarbeiten. Hinzu kommen Backup-Systeme, Domain-Kosten und die gesamte technische Infrastruktur. Diese laufenden Kosten werden aktuell weitgehend privat finanziert, mit Unterstützung einiger weniger Spenderinnen und Spender.

Nur 14% der Männer & 6% der Frauen fühlen sich „ausschließlich“ binär (Sotomo 2021). Die exklusive Binarität ist eine statistische Ausnahme, keine Norm! Dennoch verweigert das BSG nicht-binären Menschen Leistungen, indem es auf einer „eindeutigen“ Zuordnung beharrt. Das ignoriert die Empirie & das BVerfG-Urteil von 2017. Ein Systemfehler, der medizinische Hilfe blockiert.
