Business idea: a move-to-fedi (web-)app.
During the #Twitter-pocalypse (well, one of them), there was an app that would check Twitter profiles for #Fedi accounts and show a list of your follows'/mutuals' accounts. That was very useful until Elon had a hissyfit and blocked API access.
A move-to-fedi app would
1) allow logging in with popular SoMe accounts (#Facebook, #Instagram, #WhatsApp, #TikTok, #Youtube, #Twitter, kind-of prioritised)
2) check if your own fedi-account is mentioned in your profile, and if not offer to add it/suggest how to add it
3) check all contacts for fedi-accounts and present a list of clickable accounts for manual inspection/subscription + offer a downloadable + importable file
3a) bonus for also checking the account with your actual fedi-account and only show you new contacts
It could also (though that could also be separate)
4) provide a list of open Fedi-servers allowing filtering by country, theme, type (replacing Twitter/Instagram/Youtube/Reddit/…), etc.
5) directly take you to a sign-up page of a random matching server
If 4+5 were implemented, the app could also offer to
6) share a link to your profile allowing others to sign up to a random server + finding your account
Should be a web-app accessible via mobile and boomer-box so people don't have to install anything.
