#Genuary23: Inspired by brutalism. Made during my art residency at @bantamtools. At the closing show, @BrePettisArt asked me which of the 25 recent plots was my favorite—after much thought, I pointed at this one. This sketch just always creates outputs I love. #Genuary16: Generative palette. This plot was made using walnut ink! Using an organic ink that shifted colours during plotting is definitely what I would call a generative palette. Made during my art residency at @bantamtools! It's special, it's big at 36" x 24", and it's also a 1-of-1 that was made on an unreleased, prototype machine. Grab it while you can!

#Genuary14: Pure black and white. No gray. Plotted on 26" x 38" hot pressed Arches paper (~$20)! It would cost $150+ just to put it in any sort of display, so I decided to make my own shadowbox. It's mounted on a hidden sheet of foamboard so that it floats off the back, allowing you to enjoy the texture of the paper and lines themselves.

An absolutely filthy first draft!! So much upheaval... but hey, I’ve finally participated in a (Mini) Plot Party. ✨

A pleasure to spend some time today messing around with pens, Procreate, and Inkscape.

Took me until 11:30pm, so I’m not at all sure these colors are accurate and they’ll probably look way off in the morning… but as with everything, under my current mantra: Close Enough. ✨
